About Me:
I’ve always had a passion for learning. Besides my 20+ years of experience working in clinical practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist, I have continued to study and expand my skills by becoming an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. I’ve gained personal experience guiding my son through orthotropic treatment, both my son’s and daughter’s frenulectomies for tethered oral tissues, and my own struggles with sleep disordered breathing and temporomandibular disorder.
.Through my studies, I realized that OMT wouldn’t just benefit my children and myself, but so many of my patients as well. I continue to further my education to stay at the top of new information in this always changing field. I’m a dedicated and enthusiastic professional who understands the importance of whole-body, collaborative care to address each piece of the diagnostic puzzle and provide the most effective treatment. I’ve studied with the International Association of Orofacial Myology, Myomentor, and I am currently in the process of becoming an official Myomunchee practioner. My colleagues and I are proud members of the IAOM, The International Affiliation of Airway Hygienists IAAH, and The Foundation for Airway Health. I can’t wait to help you and your family move towards a greater quality of life!
